Our Service Dog Task Training program teaches disability-specific skills that increase independence, safety, and confidence. Building on obedience and public access foundations, dogs learn customized tasks such as item retrieval, medication reminders, deep pressure therapy, interruption behaviors, mobility assistance, and door or light-switch operation. Training focuses on reliable task performance, real-world application, and distraction-proofing, while handler coaching ensures tasks can be effectively maintained and integrated into daily life. Regular evaluations track progress and readiness for working in public and home environments.
